80/125µm Diameter Operating at 1530-1625nm Erbium-doped fiber

Fibercloud offers a series of erbium-doped active optical fibers, primarily used in erbium-doped lasers and amplifiers. By introducing a pump source to achieve positive feedback, laser oscillation is generated and the output is amplified. Its primary pump wavelengths include 1480nm and 980nm, achieving high energy conversion efficiency with relatively low pump power, meeting the needs of C-band and L-band optical amplification in communications applications. Erbium-doped fibers, with their low coupling loss and noise levels, are widely used in high-capacity, long-distance optical communications and fiber-optic sensing.
