Panda-type polarization-maintaining fiber for fiber optic gyroscope waveguides can be used in fiber optic gyroscopes and other polarization-related devices. This fiber is optimized for device requirements, focusing on geometric symmetry and grindability. While maintaining the fiber's polarization properties, it also offers grindability, making it a polarization-maintaining fiber that can be both looped and polished. The 60µm waveguide fiber addresses splice loss and reliability issues between 60µm and 80µm fibers, improving splice reliability, reducing splice loss, and enhancing fiber optic gyroscope system accuracy.
