Boron-doped stress rods are preforms designed and developed specifically for polarization-maintaining optical fibers. Produced using an in-tube chemical vapor deposition process, these stress rods offer advantages such as high boron doping concentration, excellent geometric uniformity, and a large stress zone. They are widely used as stress zone materials for stress-type polarizationmaintaining optical fibers and active polarization-maintaining optical fibers.
